  • Personal Information: Mobile number (for login/sign-up via OTP), User type selection (User A or User B).
  • Location Data: Real-time GPS location of your device, required to enable live tracking features. Location data is shared only according to your role (User A or User B).
  • Device Information: Device type, operating system, and app usage logs (to improve app performance).

2. How We Use Your Information

  • Provide live location tracking between User A and User B.
  • Authenticate users during login/sign-up.
  • Improve app performance, reliability, and security.
  • Prevent unauthorized access and ensure safe usage.

3. Data Sharing & Access Control

  • User A can only view the live locations of all User B.
  • User B can view the live locations of all User A and other User B.
  • We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information.
  • Data may be shared with providers (Firebase, Google Maps).

4. Data Storage & Security

All user data is stored securely in Firebase Authentication and Firestore Database with encryption and security best practices. Location data is stored temporarily for live tracking only.

5. Permissions Required

  • Location Access: For continuous live tracking.
  • Internet Access: To update and display location data on Google Maps in real time.

6. User Choices & Controls

  • You may choose to deny location permission, but some features won’t work.
  • You can stop location sharing anytime by disabling GPS.
  • Request account deletion at .

7. Third-Party Services

TrackMate integrates with:

  • Firebase (Google LLC): For authentication & database.
  • Google Maps SDK: For live map visualization.

8. Children’s Privacy

TrackMate is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect children’s data. If found, it will be deleted immediately.
